Biotech startup DAB raises 2 million to commercialize their proprietary bioreactor technology

BPF’s project partner and customer Delft Advanced Biorenewables (DAB) has successfully attracted 2 million euro in financing which was announced on 22 May 2019 at the Dutch Biotechnology Association (Nederlandse Biotechnologie Vereniging, NBV). DAB has developed a key technology to improve processes for the production of oleo-chemicals and bio-fuels through fermentation and to make these processes economically competitive. With this investment, DAB will introduce its technology internationally and will explore new applications together with industrial partners. BPF hosts the pilot installation of DAB and thereby supports the development of this technology.
