Announcement Raimo Van der Linden & Arno van de Kant
Delft, the Netherlands, january 5, 2018 – BPF, Bioprocess Pilot Facility, the industrial leading partner for scale up of biotechnological processes, announces that as of january 1 Raimo van der Linden has assumed responsibility as business development manager.
Raimo van der Linden, 38, worked for more than 2 years at REWIN West-Brabant, supporting the biobased economy in the Biobased Delta as business development manager. In that role, he worked on setting up the Pyrolysis Fieldlab Moerdijk (NL) where multiple pyrolysis pilot installations will be placed on a single site in Moerdijk.
Prior to this role as business development manager, Raimo worked at the Energy research Center of the Netherlands (ECN). During that period he worked on conceptual process design, economic evaluations and project management in biomass pretreatment, working with technologies such as organosolv fractionation, wet and dry torrefaction.
Raimo brings with him a lot of experience in scaling up biobased technologies, having worked on both the technical aspects as well as business development, project management and funding.

Raimo is succeeding Arno van de Kant, who left the company to pursue his personal ambitions with another company. Since his start at BPF, Arno ensured a steady growth of the customer base of BPF on national and international level. He made BPF visible in the global industrial biotechnology network” stated Eric Goossens. "We wish Arno all the luck in his future endeavours”.
